Gerald Piddock, of Hamilton, won two awards, the AgResearch Science Writing Award and the Ballance Agri-Nutrients Farm Business Writing Award, for stories that first appeared on nzfarmer.co.nz and then in the Waikato Times and other Fairfax papers.
